Carol Stepe, Owner, Managing Broker:
Carol Stepe has real estate experience beginning in 1959 in New Jersey and in the New York metropolitan area. The commercial market suited her best because of her family life.
Among her larger clients were the Exxon Corporation and Quick Chek Stores (similar to 7-11). Her forte was in finding locations for their businesses. She became involved in the farm and ranch market as it was often the primary source of properties purchased by her commercial clients.
Carol had been coming to Telluride for skiing vacations, and fell in love with southwest Colorado. After relocating on her ranch in Dolores, Colorado she became the managing Broker for River Mountain Properties. "To become a successful agent, one must be dedicated and love sales and Real Estate. Carol is also a notary public!
UPDATE: Carol is now an Eco Broker. After 18 months of schooling, Carol is now qualified to list and sell GREEN HOMES. As an Eco Broker, Carol can help people with energy efficient windows, doors, roofing, flooring, appliances and even mortgages. In addition to these Green Services, she can help you build your home from energy efficient recycled materials. Carol is the ONLY Eco Broker in Montezuma County... she is a 21st century girl.
